Altus Group Becomes the First RICS Regulated Firm Worldwide

Altus Group Limited announced that, effective July 2013, it has become the first company to be globally regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors ("RICS"), the world's leading qualification for professional standards in land, property and construction. As the first designation of its kind, this global regulation brings together two independent leaders in real estate.

"We welcome Altus Group's decision to become a RICS Regulated Firm. This is a commitment to the highest international standards of professionalism and ethics - and demonstrates that Altus Group is open to and embraces independent regulatory scrutiny," said Sean Tompkins, Chief Executive Officer, RICS. "Achieving and maintaining RICS Regulated Firm status is a clear market differentiation, at a time when a growing number of clients and governments around the world are demanding a higher level of quality assurance."

"As the leading global provider of independent real estate consulting services, data and intelligence solutions, high professional and ethical standards are of the utmost importance to Altus. We are committed to helping our clients by staying on top of the changing regulations by providing excellence in quality, transparency and integrity. This designation reinforces our commitment to leading the industry on an international scale," said Bob Courteau, Chief Executive Officer, Altus Group.

As governments, banks and commercial organizations voice the need for greater transparency and certainty regarding international firms, this designation strengthens Altus Group's global profile and provides the highest assurance of quality to clients and the industry.
